When does the retreat start and finish?

As soon as you register, you will receive a welcome email with access to the Getting Started module to prepare you for the retreat. The course is self-paced, so you can begin as soon as you have access. Even though the retreat is created in the format of 6 weeks, you can begin your week on any day and even pause and take longer in a week if you feel that you need to continue to stay there and pay attention to what God is calling you to notice. Even though you have access to all of the information upon registration, take you time and pray one week at a time, slowly letting the wisdom of this process wash over you and become part of your daily life and decision making.

How does the retreat work?

This unique online retreat provides an individual plan for prayer, incorporating a variety of contemplative prayer methods. Each week includes a video and weekly guide for prayer. This prayer time can happen according to your schedule. At the end of each week, there will be a pause to review the prayer of the week and then consider the graces of each week.

What is the expected time commitment for this retreat?

Plan to set aside 10-20 minutes for daily prayer and reflection. Again, even though it is created in the format of a six week journey, take as long as you need with each week. You will have access to the material as long as you have a Teachable account.

What supplies will I need for this retreat?

Supplies needed for the retreat: Computer, tablet or smartphone, a prayer place, Bible, Journal, Weekly prayer guide (that is provided at the start of each week), a Binder/folder to keep your weekly prayer guides if you choose to print them.

How can I access this course? Is there an app?

The course platform is Teachable. If possible, please opt into emails from Teachable so that we can send updates and notify you when new retreats or offerings are available. You can access the course through logging into Teachable.com on a computer or laptop. There is also a free Teachable iOS app for Apple devices. Note that through the app, you may not have access to the handouts.
