Welcome! Start Here
Welcome to our Easter Retreat, Saturated in Joy!
This year, we are inviting you to join our community for an eight-week Easter, virtual retreat, Saturated in Joy: Finding Meaning in Serving God in All Things. We will walk through and pray the entire Easter season together from the moment of the Resurrection through Pentecost and into the Ascension.
Leaning on the wisdom of the fourth week of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola, Saturated in Joy provides a guided path of daily prayer to help you lean into the joy of the resurrection, spend intentional time with the Risen Christ, and listen to where God might be sending you forth.
Along with community support, you will find scripture for daily prayer, guided Ignatian meditations and contemplations, and questions for reflection during your Easter journey with the Risen Christ and the early church. Each week there will be an opportunity to gather and share the graces of the retreat on a community wall.
Before you get started:
- Visit Before You Begin: Preparing for Prayer. Here you will find suggested materials, prayer handouts, and other helpful information to prepare for your retreat.
- Visit The Rhythm of the Retreat: How it Works to see our weekly prayer schedule. If you happen to miss a day do not worry! Trust that, with an open heart, the Holy Spirit will give you what you need during this time.
- Visit Meet the Team to get to know a little about us!
- On March 30, the Vigil of Easter, you will receive the link to access to Week 1. You can also log directly into Teachable to access the content. Depending on your location/time zone, the content may be accessible the night before.
- We will hold three live Zoom community prayer calls as a bonus component of the retreat, which are optional to attend. These calls, held on Thursdays, April 11, April 25 and May 23 Central Daylight Time, are a chance to gather as a community for a guided prayer experience. If the Zoom call does not fit into your schedule, we will post the recordings on the day following the call.
- As we prepare for our Easter journey together, take a moment to pray with us using the Prayer for Easter Joy, at the end of this section.
Know of our prayers for you during this time.
Peace,
Your Ignatian Ministries Team
