The Rhythm of the Retreat: How It Works
Our new retreat, Saturated in Joy: Finding Meaning in Serving God in all Things, an online community retreat, offers daily scripture and guided prayer, incorporating contemplative prayer methods, which will provide an individual plan that may be done on your own schedule. You will notice there is repetition of scripture in our retreat. Just like in the Spiritual Exercises, we intentionally invite you to pray with the same scripture passage or meditation twice to help you steep even deeper into your prayer.
Our weekly prayer plan includes:
- Sunday: A Guided Ignatian Prayer
- Monday: Repetition of scripture
- Tuesday: A Guided Ignatian Prayer
- Wednesday: Repetition of scripture
- Thursday: A Guided Ignatian Prayer
- Friday: Repetition of scripture
- Saturday: Gathering the Graces: A Weekly Review of Prayer
Community Wall:
The early Christian Church came together to pray and break bread. The Community Wall offers a place for us to come together and share the fruit of our prayer and reflection. The Ignatian Ministries Team will monitor the wall if you have questions or to acknowledge your sharing. The Community Wall section creates a safe space to share with or benefit from the insights of others as they offer it to us as a community of believers.
